The famous Italian brand Bottega Veneta announced days ago its new autumn-winter collection in which it includes, as usual, a wide variety of footwear proposals and it seems that the inspiration for this season has been found in the Middle Ages and specifically in the clogs worn by the Dutch. So much so that one of its star shoes is a sandal with a design very similar to a clog that also seems to have been the inspiration for Zara since it has launched its own version at a much cheaper price than the Bottega Venega shoe. .
Zara clones the iconic Bottega Veneta sandals at a unique price
The Wedge model by Bottega Veneta is the shoe or sandal that the firm has already made iconic for this season and in which Zara seems to have set its sights on bringing out its own version. A design that also has the trend of animal print. Made of 100% calfskin, the sandal features a lambskin inner lining, leather sole and an 8.5cm heel with a 4.5cm platform.
A shoe that is going to be a trend throughout this season but that has a price that is close to 900 euros, so many people will resort to the option of buying the model that Zara has launched.
The Zara sandal is a design that really looks like a clone of the Bottega Veneta one. A clog that does not lack the animal print pattern either, but that has a 7.5 cm heel although with the same platform design without it being as marked as in the shoe of the firm belonging to the Gucci group.
A shoe whose toe is square and that also has a latex foam insole, designed for greater comfort and convenience when wearing it. They are sold in a single color: camel (unlike the Bottega Veneta clog that we can buy in different colors such as grey, burgundy, green or grey) and at a price of €49.95 (sizes from 36 to 41).
One of the fashionable shoes for this fall that you can wear, as we see in the image, combined for example with a blouse and jeans or dark pants or if you prefer, it can also look great with a midi skirt.
