How to organize and store winter shoes in 4 easy steps

3. Save

This is the point that no one gets rid of and where every year we say to ourselves: what would I do to save space by keeping everything accessible and tidy? Attention: forget about the original shoe boxes, the only thing we do this way is to store a lot of cardboard and a lot of air. So let's do it right:

1. Divide the shoes by types: boots and ankle boots, wellies, field or snow boots, court shoes, sneakers.

2. Put the original form on them or make one with tissue paper so they don't deform.

3. Put them in a bag where you can see the inside, if the climate of your city and the place chosen to store them is dry, you can use transparent plastic bags, if not, you should put them in bags that can breathe or make some holes to plastic bags.

4. Use clothing storage boxes to put each type of shoe into the categories you have divided them into.

5. Label the boxes.

In this way, when the season ends and in successive ones, you will be able to take out each category of shoes as you need it; first, the pumps perhaps and, finally, the wellies or mountain boots and at any time you will have located the pair you are looking for without having to open each one of the boxes.
