During the development of the elections that the Constitutional Convention held this week to elect its new Board of Directors, Teresa Marinovic, again generated controversy due to her attitude and statements under her role as conventional.
Specifically, Marinovic was questioned for casting her vote without wearing a mask and then relativizing the importance of using this type of sanitary measure.
“I think it is an artificial and sterile conflict, and it shocks me that this matter, of such little importance, has some level of impact,” assured the graduate in Philosophy, adding that “my shoes deserved more attention than my mask“.
These statements were addressed today by the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, who criticized the constituent for lowering the profile of his fault, assuring that "if there is a complaint from the Convention, obviously the health authority has to do an investigation."

Indeed, during the afternoon of this Thursday, the conventional Loreto Vidal announced that she will file a complaint against Marinovic, before the Ethics Committee of the instance, due to her refusal to adopt sanitary measures.
“We created a regulation and that regulation is clear regarding when complaints must be made (…) when the dialogue is a dialogue of the deaf, regulatory measures must be taken (…) I know that from her group they have made efforts so that she adjusts to the measures, but it is difficult when they are not aware,” he asserted.
Vidal explained that the complaint will be made in a personal capacity and that she hopes to have the support of other conventionalists who join the measure against Marinovic. It will be reviewed by the body in charge of these matters, to then define whether to go to the health authorities.
