A TikTok post shared by a user from Florida, United States, exposed a man who ended up in trouble with his job as an Amazon delivery man. It is because, as can be seen in the record of just 10 seconds, he used the transfer vehicle to 'have an appointment' and they found him when he was saying goodbye to his companion.
The video was filmed from a window and shows a girl dressed in black with no shoes walking out the back door of the delivery van in broad daylight. The driver, for her part, waits for her to get off and closes to follow her path.
At first, many joked about the situation, such as one who launched: "The package will be delivered in 9 months." Another assured: "That's why my new phone case is late", and so thousands of comments.
Unfortunately for the worker, the scene, which already has more than 10 million views on the popular video app, reached the Amazon authorities. Speaking to the US portal TMZ, a company delegate said: "This does not reflect the high standards we have for our delivery service partners and their drivers."
But in addition to repudiating the employee's carelessness, this spokesperson confirmed what many users feared in comments on the video: "Allowing unauthorized passengers into delivery vehicles is a violation of Amazon policy, and the driver is no longer delivering packages to Amazon customers."
