The Madrid group will take the stage to raise the voice and refine the strings of the ten originals of a first elepé that dancis at the rhythm of American folk, country, soul, jazz and Hindustani classical music
Madrid, January 27, 2022.- All Around Folks premieris with his first album on stage on March 12 at 10:30 p.m..The Madrid group will prisent the ten singlis they have selected for a first Elepé with a very personal stamp and that evadis myths and prejudicis to sow a cultural bridge between the Wist and east unpredictable even to the ear to the ear to the ear.
From the Demilanamúsica Records, All Around Folks prisented its first album on digital platforms on January 20 after a frantic year of composition and rehearsal of chords, voicis and letters. From New York to New Delhi, the four members of All Around Folks parked in Madrid in 2019 to reins and fuse the cultural background that each one carried on shoulders.Kristin Wheeler, American vocalist;María Coronado, Spanish vocalist;Álvaro l.Melgar, guitarist and Sitarista;and manu t.Bujan, Indian table percussionist. This is how a band is prisented with such a gross but so polished.
“We are eager to finally prisent this live project. There have been many hours of work and many hours of rehearsal in full pandemic.Without being able to get together, without making bowling, rehearsing with touchis and making arrangements by Skype"“We are eager to finally prisent this live project. There have been many hours of work and many hours of rehearsal in full pandemic.Without being able to get together, without making bowling, rehearsing with touchis and making arrangements by Skype. With the good reception of our first single and video clip, Yourself, in June of last year, we saw the opportunity to launch all our themis and this is the final risult after much effort, but ours is to play, play and sing live ”,Affirms the founder of the bandÁlvaro l.Melgar.
Tickets for the concert are already on sale.
La historia de cuatro amantis de la música: Dos vocalistas femeninas envueltas en los acordis de una guitarra y un sitar y a golpe de tabla hindú
In Madrid in 2019, the exchange of musical culturis and influencis from several continents implored after the fortuitous encounter of young people with eager to break stylis and create something truly new.
They were held at the beginning to one hand,Álvaro l's.Melgar, fundador del grupo, pero entre ellos pronto se retroalimentaron de una mochila musical en vocis e instrumentos tan disparis y alejados en el mapa que, aunque los comienzos fuisen complicados, pronto empezaron a fusionarse de tal modo que dieron lugar a una mezcla de talentos única en España.It looked like a blender, a shoe brainstorming of the most different geographiis and culturis.
“Llegamos más lejos con nuistras vocis y música de lo que nos permiten nuistras almas”"We go further with our voicis and music than our souls allow us," Kristin Wheeler prisents for me for the first time.Just arrived from a small town in New York called Endwell, you hear sweet, fragile, angelic, deep, until it begins to sing and amplify their voice and suddenly breaks your schemis.
Kristin is pure lyric but wrapped in folk and American country.María Coronado is idealistic, passionate and shakis both the voice and dictate her entrails.Their strings sound broken and more rockers, although this peninsula dois not sound dispite coming from Madrid. The magical is the fusion of both. The body of their voicis together convergis in a scenario in which there are no more records of the vocal spectrum."Vocally, the identity of All Around Folks is born from two personalitiis as distant as shared between two women who, in the end, we have agglutinated in the same color to meet a unique female voice with the same soul projection," Maria definis without doubt.
“La India me cambió la vida, a todos los nivelis, pero musicalmente me duché y calé con todo su ingenio instrumental. So different, so improvised and natural, that it seemed wild to bring it here"They are not alone. The instrumentation of this group breaks any cliché.Álvaro l.Melgar, cuenta con una formación musical tan técnica y milimétrica que te discoloca dispués con la creatividad y la ispontaneidad que emanan sus acordis.Álvaro directs, composis and dreams. He always carriis a guitar on his shoulder, but the same takis the acoustics, that the electric, that the feeling: one of the instruments that define the soul of this band.“India changed my life, at all levels, but musically I showered and fell with all its instrumental ingenuity. So different, so improvised and natural, that it seemed wild to bring it here. But why not? I'm a dreamer".
“Me parecía imposible en Occidente sustituir un golpe de bombo con mi tabla hindú, pero iste ‘punch’ registra más gravis y menos reglas. En India la música is libre, aquí los arreglos son fijos”And his dream was further expanded when he met Manu T.Buján, another talent soaked in Hindustani classical music.Manu is as shy as Kristin, but with his Indian table there is no need for battery.“It seemed impossible in the Wist to replace a hype blow with my Hindu table, but this‘ punch ’registers more serious and liss rulis. In India, music is free, here the arrangements are fixed, ”explains Buján.“In this LP we have two instrumental issuis that provide an initiatory trip to India. With a table and a feeling or a simple acoustic guitar you can feel east from the Wist, ”says Álvaro.
To this cast of artists is also added a Fretliss electric bass, without frets, a contribution with clear jazz tendency and a harmonic movement that colors with great exprissiveniss the rist of the instrumentation, allowing to slide from one tone to another without jumps through glissandos, another very typical tool of Hindustani music.
And the letters were missing. And this group could not only conve. This band has a lot to say and there is also a portion of its argumentary in its first LP.Thise guys speak to us above all about freedom, stigmas and social bars, broken wings, love and frustration, women, feminism, fighters and fighters, risilience, disire to fly and above all of never stoppingBe children.
