The drive of Pilar Miranda, the young Rosario who at the age of 20 is making a firm path in the world of fashion, never ceases to amaze. This week she jumped on another personal project and launched her own clothing brand. The debut of the Malaparte Clothing virtual store was a success that sold out of most of its garments in less than 24 hours.
The young photographer and advertising student has already spent a few years in the world of fashion, always behind the scenes. She has a name of her own in the world of social media and was in charge of campaigns for major brands. With Malaparte he has the pleasure of doing what he loves for his own project.
“I really like fashion, and it was always my dream to do something of my own with my knowledge in advertising and photography. It is a project that I have had since 2018, at a time when I could not carry it out for what I had to invest. At the beginning of 2020 I was about to launch it and with the pandemic everything was complicated... at first I gave it up, but I insisted again a couple of months ago and I started with everything ”, says Pilar about the idea that she has been dreaming of for years and to which so much love and patience he gave her.
For months he handled all the pre-launch stuff. In addition to sotcking products, she herself designed the page where they are sold, she took each one of the photos and something no less: she began to drop clues that generated the necessary expectation to obtain the result of the debut. “I launched the store on Wednesday night and the next morning I had almost no more products,” she says in surprise, noting that she spent the first morning of the debut putting together orders for Malaparte.

Happy for the good reception she found from clients, and even with a tour in the world of fashion, Pilar says that the launch caused her the nerves she hadn't felt for years. "I used to act before, and since then I haven't felt the same nerves that you feel a second before going out to act."
Malaparte is a clothing brand in which basics and simple garments are protagonists, and tops, bodysuits and t-shirts stand out. The products that were immediately out of stock are in fact Pilar's favorites that “she has them all and loves them”. "They are all clothes that I love, but luckily many liked them."
“Clothes, what one wears, is a means of expression. Everything is going that way, the idea is to also sell products that I like, they are garments that represent me”, he tells about the articles that at the moment are from some suppliers but that he is already concluding dialogues with a workshop to start soon with own production.
