After he was not supported by the PRD-PAN alliance for the governorship of Quintana Roo, the junior opted for the Movimiento Ciudadano party.
The actor, who stands out for his career on television, is also recognized for his old friendship with children of former Mexican presidents.
Just two years ago, during an interview with Gustavo Adolfo Infante, the actor recounted his close friendship with the children of former presidents Miguel de la Madrid, Carlos Salinas de Gortari and Ernesto Zedillo, with whom, he admitted, "he broke down" during three six-year terms in the official residence of Los Pinos.

In fact, related to his business activity, journalist Lydia Cacho recently accused Palazuelos of participating in a network of money laundering, dispossession and disappearances in Tulum, Quintana Roo.
In response to this, Palazuelos threatened to take legal action against her for defamation and even asserted that Lydia Cacho was hired to try to damage her image.
Currently, the actor has been questioned if he considers it difficult to obtain the governorship, considering that the Morena party has great strength in Quintana Roo, however, he has assured that he is not afraid, since he goes all out for that position and warns that with his “popularity and charisma” could unseat the current party.
