The year 2022 already has its official color: the Very Peri . This has been confirmed by the Pantone Institute , the international entity of reference in the range of colors. If last year the Illuminating yellow and lilac swept most trends, now the purple tone has given way to a new shade that takes lilac as a base color and mixes it with blue . Thus, depending on the type of fabric of the garment and the surrounding lighting, clothing of this color may have a slightly silvery hue.

The new Pantone tone, coded with the PANTONE 17-3938 reference, has been created with the intention of transmitting "a lively and cheerful attitude, and a dynamism that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression", as explained by the same institution in its Instagram account.
Pantone has begun to market a bracelet to promote this color, from which a part of its profits will go to charitable causes.
Although the Very Peri is a color that is still in the maturation phase, it will surely not be long before we see it in all the shop windows and in the looks of the celebrities on the red carpets.
