Andrés Ruiz@AnderlafontPokémon Legends: Arceus is the first title in the main saga that is a real breath of fresh air, greatly changing some of the mechanics that have characterized the saga in recent years and offering an absolutely fantastic experience that will delight pokémaniacs around the world.
In Extra LifePokémon Legends Analysis: Arceus, one of the most exceptional and unforgettable experiences in the entire history of PokémonHowever, having so many changes, there is also a problem: you have to get used to the new mechanics and systems. You have to stop taking many things for granted, and approach the game with an open mind. Here we are going to tell you some of the things that we would have liked to know when starting our adventure.
Don't miss these tips so that your adventure in Pokémon Legends: Arceus begins in the best possible way
Pokémon now evolve through the menu
Indeed. The game no longer evolves the creatures when reaching the necessary level, but, in addition to this, you have to go to the menu to evolve them. To do this, simply open your inventory and select the creature that is ready for its evolution.
If you don't remember exactly what level each creature evolves to, don't worry: a rather conspicuous warning appears every time your team or the creature in question gains experience, with a yellow "Can evolve" message appearing.
If they can evolve, the Pokéball icon will turn yellow.Attacks are switched to hand
This is probably one of the most shocking things in the entire game, and now attacks don't disappear when learning new ones, they are stored and you can change them at will. In this way, every time one of your Pokémon learns a new movement (both in the dojo and naturally) you will have to go to the item menu.
Doing a science fair project on how to make crystals w/baking soda :) lol.

There, select the Pokémon that has learned the move in question and select the option to change moves. You will get something like what you see below, having all the attacks you have learned so far and being able to place the 4 that fit your preferences.
You will find a lot of useful informationRemember to stop by the headquarters from time to time
In addition to the normal story progression, you can also increase your rank as a member of Team Galaxy through research. This is simpler than the mechanism of a pencil, and it is that basically you will want to capture Pokémon and get Pokémon Research Points to fill your range.
The bar below indicates how much you have leftAs soon as the bar is full, drop what you're doing and head to headquarters. There, you will have to talk to the NPC that is in the office in front of the main door, as he will allow you to raise your rank as a member. Why is this important? Simple, because they will give you recipes, access to more powerful balls with which to have a little more ease to capture creatures.
Also, without raising your member rank, you're going to have a level cap at which Pokémon listen to you.
You are going to visit this office a lotWatch out for the order of the fights
Instead of the classic turn system of the saga, this installment has a system in which the speed of the Pokémon becomes even more important , as there may be cases in which you attack (or are attacked) twice in a row.
Don't forget to keep an eye out for this barBeyond your creature's speed, the two styles available in the game (in addition to normal) add some depth to the system. Always consider how you want to hit your opponent and get the most out of your turns.
Be careful with fighting several Pokémon at the same time!
This installment has changed the combat system a lot, and now you can find yourself in situations of 2 or more creatures against yours if you don't you walk with eye To keep it as short as possible, always try to go into battle one at a time, and don't throw your Pokémon into battle if there are several hostile creatures nearby, or they're going to give it a cake salad.
In this case, Lucario is going to have to dispatch two enemies at onceAs you can see in the image above, the Pokémon Lucario is targeting comes out with its name and level, while the secondary (which Lucario is targeting) can't hit) doesn't have any information. He will have to dispatch them one by one.
Watch Out for Dominant Pokémon
If you see a creature with red eyes, use extra caution. These are dominant Pokémon, which are usually MANY levels above the creatures in the area (sometimes up to 10-20 levels). They are a very sweet alternative if you want to get a powerful creature without much effort.
These creatures tend to be larger and more aggressive. They are VERY difficult to capture without fighting them, so always try to have a creature that has some powerful, effective-type attack against it.
Be aware of the importance of money
In previous installments of the game, money was never too big of an issue, but in this installment it is once again of almost vital importance. Generating money is much more complicated than in other installments, and you have to buy recipes, objects (if you want to save time) and even inventory improvements with this precious commodity.
At the beginning, it's not too interesting to invest in clothes...Therefore, the best advice we can give you for the first hours of your adventure is to spend a little on cosmetics and clothes for your character. Until you've gotten your hands on a bunch of upgrades and useful items, you're going to want every last coin.
Check your requests regularly
This last tip is essential when it comes to keeping track of secondary missions (which are called Requests in the game). Basically, they are missions with which you can get useful objects for your adventure or improvements in the different facilities of the game.
Remember to go through this menu from time to timeIt is the screen you see above. Remember to press the "Activate Guide" button to track the mission, otherwise you will have to learn the location and name of MANY NPCs, and that is not very optimal.
